The exhibition presents unique court stamp seals that originated from the territory of the historic free state (Freie Standesherrschaft) of Żmigród, since 1641 the property of the Hatzfeld family.

A strong formal link of these stamp seals depicting the natural charms of the Barycz River Valley markedly distinguishes this collection of sphragistic artefacts from the vast number of other rural stamp seals showing representations of the goddess Themis, the patron Saints of local churches and a whole variety of farming tools.

Curator of the exhibition: Artur Hryniewicz
