The most interesting and valuable plants in this pavilion include several species of cycads, including the Malayan cycad (Cycas rumphii), palms: Arenga pinnata, the Australian palm Woydetia bifurcata and an approximately 18-meter-high specimen of the date palm (Phoenix dactylifera).

The walls of the pavilion are covered with vines, including the expansive Tetrastigma voinerianum.
