Thanks to the use of a specially raised and heated window sill, it is possible to grow small species from the bottom of the tropical forest, such as begonias, pineapples, arrowroots and small ferns. Numerous blooming orchids are also exhibited here, including a useful species - vanilla (Vanilla planifolia).
Part of the pavilion is occupied by a collection of tree ferns and cycads with a spectacularly blooming male specimen of the Indian cycad (Cycas circinalis), which reflect the character of the floras of ancient geological eras.
