The large “Animal Taxonomy” block presents an overview of contemporary multicellular organisms. The large “Animal Taxonomy” block presents an overview of contemporary multicellular organisms.

Each type, division, and sometimes even order are described with characteristics of individual taxa and illustrated with a set of exhibits in the form of wet and dry preparations and models, showcasing the diversity within a given group. It is a unique arrangement – there are not that many organisations in the world, which have sufficient materials to illustrate such a huge diversity of life forms. Thanks to such a setting, the visitor can see how the life and its morphology changed at different stages of evolution.
