The “Anthropology” block presents issues from a variety of fields related to anthropology and archaeology.

An important part of this section of the exhibition is made up of replicas of Hominidae bones, specimens of great apes and monkeys, as well as skulls of numerous primate species, showcasing the diversity of their structure depending on the food they consumed. The most interesting exhibits include natural and man-made mummies, deliberately deformed skulls from Peru and Bolivia and a skull pierced with a nail, dating back to the Middle Ages. In addition, the block explains various issues related to bone pathologies, the diversity of modern humanity and the correlation between human development and civilisation.
