This year’s OKNOPLAST FOR ART competition was the second edition of the international contest organised by MOCAK and OKNOPLAST GROUP.

The task of the competition, as in the previous edition, was to create a design in any technique that would be congruous with the construction of a window. As many as almost 300 designs were submitted by artists from Poland and other countries. The jury, chaired by Professor Andrzej Bednarczyk, with the jurors Edyta Kurpiel-Placek, Małgorzata Potocka, Maria Anna Potocka and Andrzej Starmach, selected three winners and awarded two distinctions.

First prize and the prize of EUR 7,000 went to Michał Rejner, painter and installation artist. The second prize was awarded to the artistic duo Ewa Bone and Ewa Kozubal, while the third prize was  given to Marta Ciołkowska. Distinctions were awarded to Vitalii Shupliak and Monika Maurycy. All of the winning works address themes related to current social issues.

The exhibition showcases five executed works accompanied by the designs. The works belong to the OKNOPLAST GROUP collection.
