The Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk is an institution whose activities are guided by the slogan "Culture of many dimensions." On one of the largest exhibition areas in Europe, the history of the civilian population living during World War II was presented using artifacts and modern technologies, and the uniqueness of the Polish experience compared to other nations was shown.

The museum is located in a symbolic architectural space that is also a space of memory - 200 meters from the historic building of the Polish Post Office in Gdańsk and seven kilometers by water from the area of the former Polish Military Transit Depot on the Westerplatte Peninsula, attacked in September 1939.
