The Żywiec Brewery Museum opened in 2006 on the 150th anniversary of the brewery. It is one of the biggest and most modern museums of its type in Poland. The location of the museum is intriguing in itself, as it is set in the former aging cellars of the brewery.
MUSEUM THAN YOU CAN TASTE
Upon crossing the threshold of the museum, visitors enter a world saturated with the more than 160-year history of the brewery and the beer produced in it. While walking through the exhibition rooms, they actively gain an understanding of the phases of development of the brewery and of the Żywiec brand up to modern times.
HISTORY WRITTEN IN BEER
Afterwards, visitors have the opportunity to try the beer and buy souvenirs. The Żywiec Brewery Museum is a part of the Industrial Monuments Route of Silesia, and was awarded the title of Star of Technology. Since 2010, the museum has been recognised as an anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage, confirming its international significance in the history of European industry.
Minors can only visit the Museum accompanied by an adult.
