The new building of the Battle of Grunwald Museum in Stębark was put into use on September 21, 2022. It has approximately 1,300 m 2 of exhibition space. Visitors can see the permanent exhibition entitled: "The Great War with the Teutonic Order in 1409 - 1411".
Visiting the Museum is enriched by the screening of a fragment of A. Ford's film "Teutonic Knights" . This is a 23-minute film clip showing the Battle of Grunwald. Moreover, in the Museum you can watch three other films devoted to the Battle. An important element of Grunwald Fields is a monument of two knights carved in granite by the sculptor Jerzy Bandura and architect Witold Cęckiewicz, as well as 30-meter-high masts with the banners of Jagiełło's and Witold's troops . Other objects of the Museum open to the public are the ruins of a chapel built by the Teutonic Knights in 1411 and a collection of stones from the Grunwald Monument , founded by Ignacy J. Paderewski in 1910 in Krakow, demolished by the Germans in 1939. The stones from the monument's plinth were preserved in the underground and transferred, in 1976, to Pola Grunwald. They were given their current form in 1983. In the area of Grunwald Fields, accessible to visitors, there is also the "Jagiełło Mound" - a hill built by scouts in 1960 in place of Władysław Jagiełło's command post, as well as a boulder marking the alleged death place of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order and granite boulders. issued to commemorate the ceremonial oaths of the soldiers of the 1st Polish Army Division. Tadeusz Kościuszko.
The museum is also the organizer or co-organizer of many educational and historical events, including the annual "Grunwald Days" and the staging of the Battle, a series of knights' tournaments as part of the Knights Tournament League of the Grunwald Sword Academy, special events, among others, on the occasion of the Day In Memory of the Cursed Soldiers, Polish Army Day, Night of Museums, horse archery competition (in the rank of the European Cup), as well as the only winter, outdoor reconstruction event in Poland - Rejza to the Castle in Nidzica and Grunwald Field.
A rich exhibition offer and interesting events mean that the Battle of Grunwald Museum is able to offer an attractive offer to every visitor throughout the year.
