Małopolska Science Center Cogiteon

Małopolska Science Center Cogiteon is an innovative cultural institution whose goal is education through play and involvement in independent or team scientific experiments, research and social projects. Cogiteon will awaken a love of learning, help understand the world, build an attitude of creativity, openness and the habit of independent thinking.

Our profile will distinguish us from the scientific and educational institutions and museums already operating in the region. Our task will be to unleash the potential resulting from the cooperation of representatives of various fields: science, art, education, entrepreneurship and social activity. We will strongly emphasize our regional character - the unique identity and potential of Małopolska.

The Małopolska Cogiteon Science Center will be an extraordinary place - inspiring, modern and memorable. We want everyone who visits them to fall in love with science and awaken their curiosity about the world.

"Man and his dreams" is the title of the main permanent exhibition. The whole will include over a hundred interactive exhibits, divided into five thematic sections. Individual devices will develop issues related to, among others: with the structure of the human body, the functioning of societies, discovering the world, nature, technology and creativity.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, the project elements include:

• laboratories and thematic laboratories (Laboratories: Nature, Particles, Reactions, Flavors and Laboratories: Technology, Innovation),
• temporary exhibition space, conference rooms, popular science show zones, restaurant, cafe,
• the first publicly accessible roof garden in Krakow,
• a park with 296 trees and a scientific playground with outdoor exhibits.
