With the area of 600 m2 at our disposal, we are proud to present the key stages in the development of these units, often in relation to the well-known historic events. The title itself indicates the chronological approach of our exhibition. We begin with the battle of Cedynia in 972 and conclude with the fierce battle for City Hall in Karbala in 2004, which reflects the efforts of Polish soldiers during international military missions. We guide the visitors through showcases containing rare weapons, equipment, and uniforms; we pass the figures of warriors, knights, Hussars, musketeers, pikemen, soldiers; and see the reconstructed battlegrounds of the battles of Raszyn, Ossowo, Mława, Monte Cassino, and Karbala.

The biggest attraction of our exhibition is a rich collection of small arms used by soldiers of Polish military regiments since the second half of the 19th century, which includes: unique machine guns model 1939 “Mors” and, veiled in secrecy, anti-tank machine gun model 1935 “Ur.”

The exhibition has been arranged, using various means of communication to appeal to the visitors: text, image and sound. Additionally, the visitors can expand their historical knowledge at several multimedia kiosks.
