The two adjacent rooms present the works of medieval woodcarving workshops based in the regions of Silesia and Lesser Poland which were made between the 14th and 16th centuries. The sculptures displayed here previously decorated church interiors. One of the interesting sights is the group of statues set into a ‘procession of beautiful Madonnas’ (15th c.). Despite their damaged condition, the sculptures still radiate unique beauty. Also worth of note are the examples of panel painting.

The windows are adorned with 15-th century stained glass. One of them, depicting scenes from the lives of Christ and Mary, was made in the famous Michael Wolgemut’s workshop in Nuremberg, the other one comes from Silesia.

The unique atmosphere of the charming gallery is emphasised by music–compositions of St. Hildegard of Bingen.
