At the "River" exhibition you will find a model of the Vistula River bed. Referring to the longest river in Poland, flowing through Toruń, you have the opportunity to play at the stands located along its course. Our river consists of a source divided into two streams (in relation to Biała and Czarna Wisełka), a small basin referring to the dam in Włocławek and a large basin, i.e. the Baltic Sea.
Around the riverbed there are other exhibits showing the richness of Polish fauna. Being in such a large area, you can play with the first mobile exhibits, built by CNMW in 2012, which are correlated with physical phenomena, e.g. "Prism", "Spinning Ball" or "Spinning Cylinder".
An additional decoration of this space is a model of a ship that fits into the whole, related to historical reports about pirates who once roamed the Vistula.
