The museum of the Middle Vistula and the Wyszogód Land, a branch of the Mazovian Museum in Płock. It presents monuments from the Neolithic settlement, related to the activity of the castle in Wyszogród and shipping on the Vistula river. It collects relicts of Jewish and German settlements as well as tools formerly used to build boats and fish. Monuments related to the battles of First and Second World Wars, a model of the longest wooden bridge in Europe built during the offensive of German troops in 1916, as well as unique films and photos related to its construction and operation.
You can see fragments of the soviet Pe-2 light bomber dropped by the Germans over Wyszogród on 18January 1945 and fragments of the German fortifications of Tobruk type on the Vistula.
